New Images

Images improve the effectiveness of information in topics and add a new dimension to the Prescription-Strength Information^® content in the Healthwise Knowledgebase. Having access to these images helps consumers understand the information and improves their ability to make good decisions.

• A new illustration of how high blood pressure damages arteries appears in the topics Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Attack and Unstable Angina, High Blood Pressure (Hypertension), Peripheral Arterial Disease of the Legs, Stroke, and Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA).
• A new illustration of insulin syringes used in gestational diabetes appears in the topic Preparing and giving an insulin injection when you have gestational diabetes.
• A new illustration of obstructive sleep apnea: Blocked upper airway appears in the topic Sleep Apnea.
