  • Two Blocks of OB
  • One Block of Newborn Care
    • Two Weeks at Swedish Hospital
    • Two Weeks at Evanston/NorthShore Special Care Nursery
  • One Block of Surgery
  • Two Blocks of Family Medicine Immersion/Community Medicine at Erie Family Health Centers
  • One Block of Emergency Medicine 
  • Three Blocks of Inpatient Medicine
  • Two Blocks of CCU
  • One Block of IMCU
TOTAL: 13 Blocks

Second Year of Residency

  • One Block of Inpatient Medicine
  • One Block of Inpatient Pediatrics - Lurie Children's Hospital
  • One Block of CCU
  • One Block of IMCU
  • One Block of EM 
  • One Block of Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • One Block of Family Medicine/Immersion/Community Medicine at Erie Family Health Centers
  • One Block of Women's Health/ Gynecology
  • One Block of Outpatient Pediatrics
  • One Block of Orthopedics 
  • One Block of Quality Improvement (Blocks Nine through 13)
  • Two Blocks of Elective

  • Two blocks of Inpatient Medicine
  • One Block of Community Medicine at Erie Family Health Centers
  • One Block of Outpatient Pediatrics
  • One Block of Sports Medicine
  • One Block of Geriatrics 
  • One Block of ENT/Urology
  • One Block of Dermatology 
  • One Block of Family Medicine/Practice Management
  • Four Blocks of Electives
